hCG Phase 2

Dr. Albert T.W. Simeons prescribed hCG to his patients and refined a diet of healthy foods that he found worked for weight loss. Today we use his protocol because it produces fast results. We offer the amazing hCG 1234® Diet Support Solution with Dr. Simeons' protocol to help you meet you diet goals. Some dieters still prefer to do heavy workouts during the Phase 2 part of the hCG 1234® Diet, although this is not encouraged in the original protocol. We offer 1200 and 1500 calorie plans for higher calorie needs (these are also for people with physically demanding jobs.) Later, during Phase 3, more calories and exercise will be incorporated into your day.

Hopefully you didn't skip the two "Load days" from Phase 1: because your body is going to need those calories to store up energy and transition into the Low Calorie Diet of Phase 2 where you burn stored fat for energy instead of just the food you eat.

On the third day, keep taking your hCG 1234® diet drops as you did before: 10 drops 3 times per day--once in the morning, 30 minutes before your lunch, then 30 minutes before you eat dinner, for a total of 30 drops. Start eating from Dr. Simeons' list of allowed foods. These include:

Protein- Two 100-gram servings per day Chicken breast, Shrimp, White Fish (halibut, canned tuna or tilapia), Extra Lean Ground Beef, Steak, Lobster, Crab, Veal, Bison (Buffalo) or Venison.

You need to remove the fat from your meat and weight it before you cook it. Don't use oils in cooking, and be sure not to use spices that contain sugar.

Vegetables—Two servings per day Green Salad, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Celery, Onions, Spinach, Chard, Fennel, Red Radishes, Asparagus, Cabbage, Chicory, Beet Greens

Dr. Simeons' Protocol isn't exact about the amount of vegetables in each serving, so use your judgment. Generally a serving of vegetables is about 2 cups of salad, 1 tomato, 1 cucumber, 1 onion, or half a cabbage. (For best results do not mix vegetables; only 1 vegetable per serving is allowed each meal.)

Bread—Two servings per day 1 Melba toast or one grissini breadstick

You can get Melba toast at most grocery stores, grissini is found at health food stores or Italian markets.

Those are the allowed foods; 2 Proteins, 2 Veggies, and 2 Breads every day. In addition you may have unlimited beverages of black coffee, tea, or water (distilled is best, and Pellegrino/Perrier etc. are fine too). For best diet results try to drink at least 2 liters each day.

Two servings of Fruit are also allowed each day, and these include 1 apple, 1 orange, half a grapefruit, or a handful of strawberries. Sweeteners are allowed, but only stevia and saccharin (Sweet 'N' Low)--not aspartame, sucralose or sugar. Use any Spice you like, but check to make sure it doesn't have sugar in it. Salt and pepper are okay.

Continue to follow this protocol and take your hCG 1234® weight loss supplement for 3 weeks depending on your choice of diet plan. Use the charts in your booklet to record your weight each morning before you eat. After your 3 (or 6) weeks on Phase 2 stop taking the hCG 1234® Diet Drops, but keep eating the allowed foods for 2 days. You are preparing to eat a wider variety of foods during Phase 3, such as dairy, bread, and nuts.

Note: almost every dieter experiences a mild plateau or "stalling" at some point during the diet, where weight loss slows temporarily. Keep at it and your average weight loss should be consistent. Plateaus have different causes such as water retention or constipation, and do not mean the diet is not working. Of course, they happen when you slip and cheat, too! We know how it is. An Apple Day usually puts you back where you want to be during Phase 2, whereas a Steak Day is best for Phase 3 and later.
