Dieting Tips hCG drops The Diet Plan

Are Food Cravings Sabotaging Your hCG Diet?

Tips on how to help stop your food cravings so you can stick to your diet and lose weight!

Spread out your food

You need to spread out your food intake throughout the day to avoid your stomach feeling empty.  The hCG diet is flexible in that the only rule about when to eat is to avoid food or drink 10 minutes before or after taking the drops.

Brush your teeth

Nothing tastes good right after you brush your teeth!  And who wants to ruin perfectly clean teeth with food.  This may help you to delay your next snack or meal.

Eat some leafy green vegetables

Lettuces, spinach, and chard are very low in calories so you can eat a lot without exceeding your calorie intake limit.  Leafy greens are also a great source of fiber and vitamins.

Add spices or sweeteners (we recommend stevia)

Spices can make the foods you are allowed to eat on the hCG diet more flavorful and satisfying.  Add cinnamon to a baked apple for a sweet treat.  Sprinkle red chili, garlic, and oregano to spice up your chicken.  Make your vegetables more flavorful with pepper.  Drizzle dark chocolate stevia over sliced strawberries to cure your chocolate craving.  Check out our recipe page to help “spice” up your meals.  http://www.creativebioscience.com/recipes.html

Drink plenty of water

One of the most common errors found on hCG Diet is not drinking enough water. For the best weight loss result, you should be drinking at least 2 quarts of water every day. Water helps your stomach fill full and sometimes thirst can be mistaken for hunger.

Bored with water, try tea

If you are tired of plain old water tea may satisfy your craving.  Try some tea flavored with peppermint or mint for a natural appetite suppressant.  Flavored tea can be very satisfying just make sure to check the labels carefully for added sugar or artificial sweetener.

Make sure you always have some healthy hCG diet approved snacks

Apples, berries, grapefruit, melons, and pears are great sweet treats.  Cucumbers and celery are good crunchy snacks.  Try a pickle for a salty treat, make sure to read the label and avoid pickles with added sugar or sweetener.
